30 Characters Challenge - Day 1

Aw man, if I had known about this challenge sooner, i could have held off on those sketch dumps and made it through more than the entire first half no sweat! but those were all drawn beforehand so i guess that would be cheating or something. So for all of the characters in the challenge I'm gonna be starting fresh! no pre-drawn characters, no already-posted characters, strait from pencil to ink to computer, all in one day!

About the character: I first thought up Starch when I got to thinking: "What if there was a character that personified my drawing style?" Well this is him, or at least how I tend to see it. An uncomfortable, jagged surface. An uneven, unbalanced mess that somehow manages to cling together in a nervous tightness. Not soft, but brittle, not hard, but rough.
