This island was mine once. Those were better, simpler days. The days when power wasn't something you got from your blood, or something that just got dropped into your lap. The days where power was something you worked for, something you earned. The days before this rock went to hell.
I once knew a guy; clerk by the name of Lector Greaves. Scrawny, pitiful man, hardly even as wide as my arm. He also happened to be a "client" of mine that was always in a bit of debt. I had just about had it, when he got on his hands and knees and begged for one last chance. Begged for mercy from me, begged to be spared from the power I could have unleashed on him. And I did. I took pity on the poor guy.
I told him, "The next day."
...the next day...
...the next day, the accident happened...
...the next day, those freaks, the Terramen were brought into the world...
...the next day, scared, scrawny, pitiful Lector planted this scar across my face.

Man so cool. I get this weird mobster/batman villain vibe from him. I kinda like how you subvert the whole merciless mobster thing and actually have it come back to bite him, possibly making him more of a merciless mobster guy. Awesome! I assume he's part of Shuffle's story? Or at least from the same island place right?
